Christine A. Foster is devoted to representing injured workers. Prior to starting Foster Law P.C. in 1992, she worked with Justice Robert F. Utter of the Washington Supreme Court on special research projects and with the Office of the Washington State Attorney General representing the Department of Labor & Industries.

In addition to zealously representing injured workers before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, Christine has also successfully represented injured workers in the appellate courts, including the Washington Supreme Court relative to significant Industrial Insurance issues.  Published decisions include Brand v. Dept. of Labor & Indus., 91 Wn. App. 280, 959 (1998) rev’d, 139 Wn.2d 659, 989 P.2d 1111 (1999) and Somsak v. Criton Industries, 75 Wn. App. 657, 879 P.2d 326 (1994). 

Christine graduated, cum laude, from the University of Puget Sound, School of law, now Seattle University, in 1988. She is a member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Association for Justice, and listed in Who’s Who in America Law.

Some of her professional awards include recognition by Lawyers of Distinction for her excellence in Workers’ Compensation Law every year since 2020, recognized as Lawyer of the Year in Workers’ Compensation law by the American Institute of Legal Professionals, named Best of the Best Workers’ Compensation Attorneys in 2024, listed as among the Top 10 Workers’ Compensation attorneys in Washington in 2022 and 2023, and awarded the People’s Choice award in 2023 for the Best Workers’ Compensation firm in the PNW.

Christine has spoken before both peer and community groups on topics related to workers’ compensation and is author of the chapter on total disability benefits in the Worker’s Compensation Deskbook for Attorneys.

Christine enjoys reading and classical piano performance. She was a gold medal winner in the 2010 Seattle Amateur International Piano Competition with the additional recognition as both Teacher and Audience favorite after her performance in Seattle’s coveted Benaroya Hall.
